International Patients: Your Journey to Scottsdale

To respect your time, we complete a preliminary records review before you book a flight. This can identify obvious barriers and questions, but it does not establish surgical candidacy; that decision requires the appropriate clinical evaluation. Our process for overseas guests includes:

  Photo & Record Submission: You may submit your medical history and current photographs via our secure, HIPAA-compliant international portal.

  Candidacy Confirmation: Dr. Jowett will personally review your case to determine if our surgical techniques align with your goals.

  The In-Person Consultation: Your formal medical consultation and physical examination will take place in our Scottsdale office prior to your procedure. We will coordinate this appointment seamlessly with your surgical date.

Once your surgical date is reserved, we provide the necessary documentation to support your travel plans, including applications for a U.S. Medical Visitor (B-2) Visa.

• Letter of Medical Necessity: We provide a formal letter detailing the scheduled treatment, the medical necessity of the procedure, and the required duration of stay for recovery.
• Customs Coordination: We can provide available documentation for prescribed medications or medical devices. Entry requirements remain subject to U.S. Customs and other applicable authorities.
